How we use information and legal bases
We use information to provide requested services, operate accounts, search suppliers, generate
budget-first trip options, complete booking and payment flows, provide support, protect the platform,
comply with law, and improve Eridura.
- Contract or pre-contract steps: searches, price checks, booking flows, account tools.
- Legitimate interests: security, debugging, fraud prevention, product improvement, service reliability.
- Consent: optional cookies, marketing communications, and optional tracking where required.
- Legal obligations: tax, accounting, disputes, regulatory requests, and safety requirements.
Sharing with travel and payment partners
To search or book travel, Eridura may share necessary information with airlines, hotels, global
distribution systems, flight providers, hotel providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention vendors,
cloud infrastructure, email/SMS tools, analytics providers, and customer-support systems.
Payment details are handled by payment processors such as Stripe. Eridura does not need to store full
card numbers to show search results or run standard checkout flows.
International transfers
Travel and booking services may involve suppliers and infrastructure in different countries. Where
required, Eridura uses appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy
decisions, contractual safeguards, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. We keep information for
as long as needed to provide services, maintain booking and financial records, comply with legal
obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent fraud, and improve Eridura.
For guest booking recovery, Eridura may store a short browser cookie containing a booking id and
display reference. It is used to reopen a recent itinerary on the same device and should not contain
full passenger, payment, or passport details.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object
to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where
processing is based on consent and to complain to a data protection authority.
Automated ranking and discovery results
Eridura may use algorithms to rank destinations or flights based on budget fit, price, journey time,
local spend assumptions, and preferences. These rankings are travel recommendations and search
ordering tools; they are not intended to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.
Children
Eridura is intended for users who can lawfully create accounts and make travel purchases. Children or
minors may be included as passengers when a parent, guardian, or authorized adult provides booking
details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Eridura adds new search, booking, discovery, supplier, analytics, or
account features. The latest version will be posted on this page.
